4. Prepare your home for your recovery.

Arrange all of your essential supplies on your nightstand in advance. This includes medications, water, a heating pad, and your phone charger. Keep some extra pillows and blankets nearby, too.

If you have time before your tummy tuck, make some meals in advance and put them in the freezer. Eating nutritious meals will speed up your recovery time and make the healing process easier. You should also stock up on soft foods that are gentle on your stomach, including soup, applesauce, and yogurt.
